I cannot emphasize just how nice these guys were (took the piss outta me proper though for being a "paddy" Laughing )
For the record, and one i have never heard before. Here is how i fixed it as advised by Mike.
1.) As the m/c had come out, with the nature of the design of the m/c, it will always airlock if dry emptied. This requires pressure bleeding. (which i had already done)
2.) When i replaced the seals in the calipers, i should have done so WET. Wet in the sense that i should have filled the seal space with fluid first. As i didnt, they were filled with air which was not getting displaced by bleeding. (I hadnt done this)
3.) As i had my car up on 4 axle stands and not jacked, it was dead level. Generally speaking, the bleed nipples are pretty poorly placed and as it was level, they were still leaving air pockets. Jacking corner by corner may be different) (sounds likely)
I took the calipers off one by one, front AND rear as advised by Mike and clamped them using clamps so that the bleed nipple was pointing straight up and was well above the flexible hoses.
Each caliper was bled again with Helens help on the pedal and what do you know.......each one had about 3 full pedal presses in it before the bubbles stopped.
The pedal is now good and after a small bit of travel with servo assistance the bite is back.
I hope this helps someone in the future. Was really bugging me.
